Handel's Messiah Singalong

JP Concerts Presents Handel's Messiah Singalong

Saturday, December 11, starting at 8:00 pm, at St. John’s Episcopal Church, at Revere and Roanoke Streets in Jamaica Plain, JP Concerts presents SING MESSIAH!, with the Young Artists Philharmonic, all current students at New England Conservatory, led by conductor Isaac Kramer. Come sing the choruses with us! Tickets are $10, but your generosity is welcomed. All proceeds go to Healing Hands for Haiti. For directions to the church please see www.jpconcerts.org.

The instrumentalists of the Young Artists Philharmonic are all current students at the New England Conservatory of Music, led by Conductor Isaac Kramer. Isaac began his study of music with piano lessons at age 6. Two years later he began playing what is today his primary instrument, the trombone. At age 12 he was accepted into the Orange County High School of the Arts. During his studies there Isaac was fortunate enough to continue training on his primary instrument with trombonist Jeremy Swem as well as begin an apprenticeship (which he continues to this day) with conductor Barry Silverman. Recently, Isaac won the South Coast Symphony's Young Stars of the Future competition as a conductor, the first conductor to win this award. Isaac currently attends the New England Conservatory of Music where he studies trombone performance with Norman Bolter.
